Long Buckby Infant School are seeking to appoint a Level 1 Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to provide additional support in the classroom primarily to work 1-1 with a child with specific needs in our vibrant Reception Class from September 2017. This represents a rare opportunity to join our highly successful team. The person we are seeking should have the energy, purpose and experience to work with a child with a range of needs. The majority of time will be spent supporting the child within the Early Years Framework, alongside specific intervention programmes. Duties will be directed by the class teacher and may involve being responsible for groups or individuals under her guidance. Previous experience of working 1:1 with children is desirable but not essential as relevant training will be provided for the suitable applicant. The advertised post has set hours from 8.45am to 3.15pm.
