Forest School

Forest School is an exciting learning opportunity where the children get to experience learning in a natural outdoor environment whether it is rain or shine. The children participate in activities such as: den building, hunting for minibeasts, making mud pies and mud paint, tree climbing, natural arts and crafts, digging and whittling sticks! Research has shown that Forest School promotes higher levels of self-esteem and improves social skills. It also encourages the children to become more aware of risks and how to keep themselves safe.

We are really proud to have two teachers trained as Forest School Leaders. All our children work in the designated Forest School area and experience their learning through each season.
