In Term 2, our topic is 'Up, Up and Away'
The children will be using the short film Soar and the book 'Man on the Moon' by Simon Bartram as their inspiration for their writing this term
In History, the children will be learning about we learnt to fly. They will look at the historic first human engine powered flight by the Wright Brothers, to the development and evolution of space travel.In science, children will be looking at different materials and looking at the properties and it's uses.
In Term 2, the topic is Animal Life
The children will be looking at different animals and also creatures that live in micro habitats and exploring these in forest school.
The children will be writing their own narrative tale and poetry inspired by the animals and habitats around them, as well as learning in geography about why our World is wonderful.
The children will be looking at Islam in RE and what different celebrations, different faiths celebrate including a focus on the Easter story.
