Pixie Class - Year 1

Welcome to the Pixie Class. The Pixie Class is taught by Mrs Wigston & Mrs Malin.

This terms topic was revealed through our school trip to Irchester Country Park, as Wild and Wonderful.  The children were able to explore the forests, looking for minibeasts, using their senses and building dens.  It was an amazing day out and all the children enjoyed themselves thoroughly.

As part of our topic, the children have looked at Alice in Wonderland.  The made their own Mad Haters Hats, magic potions, a clay tea cup and wrote about the characters from the book.  The children all took part in a Mad Hatters tea party, where mums and dads were invited a long to enjoy a cup of tea and a piece of cake.  the children enjoyed dressing up and baking.
